  • Begin your 100% online journey by building a strong foundation in the core principles of forest therapy. Explore guiding techniques based in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and Earth-based wisdom. 

    • Join weekly 1.5-hour live sessions with instructors and your cohort on Zoom

    • Experience 3 guided forest therapy walks (live and facilitated virtually)

    • Engage with comprehensive course materials and experiential practices to deepen learning

    • Receive The Forest Therapy School Guidebook and The Nature Reset to anchor your study

  • In the final month of your journey, you’ll enter a mentored practicum and receive personalized guidance as you grow.

Requirements for your certification

You will receive your Heartwood Forest Therapy Guide Certification upon completion of the following requirements:

  • Completion of 2 Medicine Walks (2-hour and 4-hour)

  • Leading 2 Forest Therapy walks (1:1 and group) with reflection

  • A Harvest Offering inspired by your Nature Quest practice

  • Successful demonstration in crafting and offering invitations (sensory prompts that foster presence and nature connection)

  • Attendance of at least 10 live classes and 2 walk sessions

This is more than a certificate—it’s an initiation into a life of guiding others into presence, belonging, and healing with the natural world.
