Join us for an experiential day exploring how forest therapy can serve as a compassionate container for supporting grief.
Designed for forest therapy guides and nature connection practitioners, this advanced intensive will strengthen your capacity to be with your own grief while equipping you with the skills to confidently lead forest therapy experiences designed for individuals who are carrying loss.
By the End of This Intensive, You Will:
Increase your capacity to be with your own grief.
Gain an in-depth understanding of different types of grief and how to hold space when grief arises.
Be able to articulate the role forest therapy can play in grief support.
Learn how to thoughtfully incorporate ritual into grief-centered forest therapy experiences.

Meet Your Guides
With over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, Lenora Arrington brings a rare depth of presence and gentle wisdom to her work. She is a licensed psychologist, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, NARM® Master Therapist, Certified Forest Therapy Guide, retreat facilitator, and grief ritual leader. Her work is rooted in the healing rhythms of nature and a profound trust in each person’s inner knowing.
Lenora Arrington, PSYD
Julie is a forest therapy guide, retreat facilitator, and co-founder of Heartwood School of Forest Therapy. Since 2016, she has guided individuals and groups in the practice of deep nature connection. As the former co-founder of The Forest Therapy School, she played a key role in developing its guide certification program and has trained hundreds of forest therapy guides, helping grow the movement to reconnect people with the natural world.
