Plant & Animal Communication

Remembering the Language You Already Know

Saturday, February 6, 2027

11:00 am — 1:00 pm ET

LIVE ON ZOOM

Have you ever experienced a moment when a plant or animal seemed to speak to you without words?

Perhaps a bird captured your attention at exactly the right moment.
Or maybe a tree seemed to answer something you hadn't said out loud.

Experiences like these can be easy to dismiss as coincidence or imagination.

But what happens when we become curious about them instead?

Plant & Animal Communication is a two-hour experiential workshop exploring interspecies communication and the many ways we may perceive, receive, and respond to the living world around us.

Explore Your own way of communicating

Through guided reflection, experiential practices, and personal stories, you’ll be invited to become curious about your own experiences with plants and animals and begin to uncover how you naturally communicate with the more-than-human world.

Rather than learning a particular method or system, you’ll explore the communication style that’s already yours and discover ways to continue developing it in your everyday life.

Why This matters

Many of us have learned to experience the natural world primarily through a lens of identifying, studying, appreciating, and caring for plants and animals. We may have learned a great deal about the more-than-human without learning how to really be in relationship.

Exploring interspecies communication offers an opportunity to listen to, learn from, and delight in the natural world in meaningful ways. Even with your beloved animal companion or backyard tree.

As we become more attentive to the ways we perceive and receive communication, we may discover a deeper connection with the living world and a greater sense of belonging within.

DURING OUR TIME TOGETHER, YOU'LL:

  • Explore your own history and natural tendencies for interspecies communication

  • Experiment with activities you can practice on your own after the workshop

  • Identify what may be blocking or distorting your natural fluency

  • Leave with a personal plan for continuing to develop your unique capacity

THIS WORKSHOP MAY BE FOR YOU IF...

You're curious about plant and animal communication but aren't sure where to begin.

You've had experiences with animals, plants, or places that felt meaningful but were difficult to explain.

You already sense a connection with plants or animals and want to understand and explore it more intentionally.

Or perhaps you've simply wondered whether there is more happening in your encounters with the living world than you've learned to notice.

You don't need any previous experience with interspecies communication to participate. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are enough.
